A week's worth of qualifiers doesn't see much movement at the top of this edition of the women's power rankings. The top 6 teams remain in their positions, with the 5 teams that played all winning their tournaments (WAC hasn't started yet).

The biggest shake-up this week occurred in the Midwest, as Metropolis surges from #15 to #8 after their Firehouse 7s win. The Midwest-favorite Chicago Lions finished third at the same event, sending them down to #18. Cincinnati, which has come on strong in recent years, captured second at the event and is looking to carry its success through to the Midwest final, which it will host (Cin City 7s; July 28). Cincy debuts in the rankings at #14.

Also debuting are the San Diego Boogie Boarders and Boston Rugby, after they both had strong showings in their opening tournaments. The Boogie Boarders bested a strong Santa Barbara team as well as Tempe (who appeared at Nationals in 2016 & 2017). Boston, in turn, finished 3rd of 6 teams in Newport, with only a narrow 2-point loss to Beantown keeping them from second place.

NOVA and the Furies swap positions after NOVA claimed second over the Furies (third) at Rites of Spring 7s.
